Minigun recoil pattern
The Minigun puts out an enormous volume of fire after it spins up. Its spread and climb make it best for close-range pressure and defending bases, not precise long-range shots.

How to control the Minigun
- 1Plan for the spin-up. Start it just before you peek, not after.
- 2Keep fights close; spread makes long range wasteful.
- 3Pull down gently and continuously while it fires.
- 4Use it from cover. You're a big, slow target while firing.
Using a Rust script with the Minigun
A Rust script (also called a recoil script or no-recoil macro) moves your mouse against the Minigun's spray for you, so your shots stay where you aim. The WipeReady Rust script has a profile tuned to the Minigun's exact spray pattern for every attachment, matched to your sensitivity and FOV.
You decide how much it does: at 100% horizontal and vertical control it holds the Minigun steady, and lower settings hand more of the work back to you. Not sure yet? Feel it first in the free Recoil Range.
